Juneteenth: Home

This guide celebrates the contributions of the voices of color who study and write at the intersections of Anti-racism and Theology.

Juneteenth (June 19) celebrates the freedom of enslaved people in the United States at the end of the Civil War. For more than 150 years, African American communities across the country have observed this holiday.

Here at Sage Library we celebrate the voices of color who have contributed to the disciplines of Anti-Racism, Black Liberation Theology, Critical Race Theory, and Womanist Theology.

Are you local to the NBTS campus? Come check out our Juneteenth Book Display located on the main floor of Sage Library.
